Feast on The Farm (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October) is the first food and drinks festival brought to you by the Brill family at Peterley Manor Farm. Long champions of seasonal local produce, this two-day festival will be a celebration of the amazing array of produce that The Chilterns has to offer.
Over the two days you carefully selected local producers will be showcasing their delights from Gin, preserves, oils, pork snacks to the finest chocolates. The Lea & Sandeman wine bar will be not only serving their array of independent wines but playing host to producer tastings and parings. Feasting on the Green will be where you’ll be able to feast on street food from Laffa, Homemade seasonal fare from The Wild Strawberry Cafe, Ice Cream served from a converted horse box and real ale by Malt the Brewery. There will be talks from local start-ups, workshops from butchery to fermentation and a very special molecular gastronomy for children. Oh and much much more.
Fabulous local chefs and restaurants will be bringing you a programme of demonstrations from fire pits to foraging to wild game. Those appearing so far are; The Artichoke, The Mash Inn, The Three Oaks, The Dog & Badger, The Sun Inn and The Jolly Cricketers. Special guest chef Oliver Rowe (BBC2’s The Urban Chef and author of Food for All Seasons) will be joining forces with Keith Bennett from Chiltern Farm Foods on bring you a butchery masterclass but not before hosting a seasonal supper club on Friday 13th October.
