Pre school (and older children in school holidays) cooking classes, incorporating fruit and vegetables in every recipe to encourage and promote healthier eating. Children cook a trays worth of baked goods and take them home at the end of the session. While food cooks, interactive activities are carried out, including taste testers of new or different varieties of fruit and veg ( fresh, dried, juice) etc. We also discuss where the foods come from, and why they are good for us. Children get a recipie card at the end of the session too to add to their folder.
