We went to The Swan in Old Amersham for dinner with friends at the weekend. The food was good and out waitress was really nice & very knowledgable about the food and wine. We were seated upstairs bit I personally I prefer the dining area downstairs (I gave 3 stars for ambiance as I also found the lighting quite bright :)). A very nice relaxed meal, at a reasonable price.

We took our two children (aged 3 and 6) here for dinner on Saturday and had a great meal. There was plenty of selection, early bird menu, evening menu, daily specials menu and childrens menu. The staff were very friendly and engaging with the kids, although no crayons/colouring etc for the kids so would recommend taking some to keep them entertained. There is apparently a nice beer garden to enjoy in the summer but we didn't venture outside as the weather was too wet.
