The Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre, Great Missenden

I took my two kids (4 & 6 years) to the Roald Dahl Museum and had a great day out. The museum is really educational and fun at the same time. There's lots of hands on exhibits to keep the young ones entertained plus all the facts about Roald Dahl's life before he began writing and what inspired his fantastic books. We joined in one of the interactive story times and both kids and adults had a ball :) There's plenty of activities throughout the museum, including creative workshops, dress-up area and craft room. There's also a lovely cafe with a delicious selection of cakes!. The museum is probably best suited to children over 5, as there's lots of resources to help develop creativity and imagination, it's a great introduction to museums for kids. We'll definitely be back again.
