Went to try the Plough a few weeks ago. Lovely Italian menu with great fresh pasta. I would say the meals were a little over priced for what they were and surprisingly the restaurant was totally empty so lacking an atmosphere.
Lovely ambience and Fresh italian PUB

Absolutely enjoyed our meal at 'The Plough'. We got introduced to this Friendly Italian Pub by our friends, who got food catered from here for their son's party. Even though it was plain cold food they ordered was absolutely fresh lovely divine !
My husband and I then thought should go and try a proper sit down meal and was not dissappointed at all. Nothing more you can expect from a Italian Pub, FRESH YUMMY DIFFERENT MENU. Totally enjoyed. Lovely portions and kids friendly too. They have a delicattessen that runs daily which has good Itealian sourced products and breakfats, sunday roast etc. Highly recommend for a different take than English pubs :-)

We are pleased to have found a family friendly pub that serves decent, reasonably priced food. They have a restaurant, but we have eaten in the bar with our 2 children. The menu is varied and seems to change regularly. I had an excellent pheasant, reported to be locally shot. They do a childrens menu with a colouring page on the reverse and provide colouring pencils. The menu has an Italian twist with a wide selection of pizza and traditional yummy Italian desserts. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are looking for a nice sunday lunch.
