Hi
Lovely place in the heart of Beautiful Old Amersham. I have been to grocer 91 few times in the last few months. A delight to go again and again !!
Lovely service, amazing menu with great fresh flavours. Nice cafe to have a catch up with friends over a coffee and cake. Had to wait to get a table but was worth the wait. Seating is limited.
New grocer at 15 - went for the first time last week with my best buddies. Had a long wait to get a table as it was Friday lunch time. Ageing, seeing the menu and variety we did not want to leave the place. Had scrumptious salads - roasted aubergine with cream cheese and promogranate and beet root with goats cheese. Perfect salad - fresh and divine!! Definitely going to the grocer soon. My hubby wants me to take him there hearing my praise on the cafe :)..
Selection of sandwiches, fresh drinks looked amazing. So have more reasons to visit there soon.. Well worth a visit.. Highly recommend it. Grocers definitely is very popular, authentic and local..
Enjoy..

Shhhh, I have a new love and it's not Mr. Chiltern Chatter......The Grocer at 91 in Old Amersham has a relaxed atmosphere. It's part deli, part kitchen - a mix of artisan products with freshly prepared food, great coffee and home made cakes. I'm sure you can understand why I've strayed ☺ Despite having lived in The Chilterns for 3.5 years, we haven't ventured into the The Grocer at 91 before. Mainly because wherever I go, I'm usually accompanied by 3 little people ☺ Having 'lost' one child to an afternoon of birthday parties (yippee), Mr Chiltern Chatter and I decided to head to Old Amersham with the remaining two, for a scoot around and a bite to eat. My lovely friend Louise from Beyond the School Run had mentioned the day before that The Grocer at 91 is one of her favourite local places for brunch with her family, so we decided to give it a try. Admittedly I was a little nervous having two small people in tow, but I needn't have been. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and found us a table to sit at in the bay window. The menu has a good selection of breakfast and lunch options with everything from croissants & pastries to soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch. Our food (two delicious bacon sandwiches, a yummy Prosciutto & Buffalo mozzarella sandwich on Rye and a MASSIVE croissant for our 2 year old), served on lovely wooden boards (I'm a sucker for nice little touches ☺) was excellent and devoured before I could take a picture ☺ We asked for some tap water for the children and they gave us a bottle of ICE cool water in a lovely glass bottle for free – bonus ☺ The lunch menu is aimed at grown ups, but they were very accommodating and were aware that their home made tomato sauce (which incidentally was delicious) which accompanied the bacon sandwich may not be to the liking of my 7 year old and they substituted it for good old Tommy K. I'm sure you can tell from the opening of this review where I stand ☺ This is a great place to catch up with friends for coffee or a relaxed & informal brunch / lunch. And it's quite clearly a popular place as The Grocer empire has expanded and there is now The Grocer at 15 in Old Amersham…
