Lizzie Rawlinson, who has worked with the likes of Take That, Boyzone & Steps is launching Chiltern Cheerleaders, an exciting new squad offering cheerleading experience to girls & boys throughout Buckinghamshire. Lizzie is offering a free taster class on Wednesday 17th April and the classes will start the following week.

Cheerleading is the fastest growing activity in the UK and is suitable for all children over the age of 4.5 years. The class consists of cheer, dance, gymnastics and stunting. Children will learn amazing new skills, while having great fun.

Mum of two Lizzie commented: ‘Cheerleading is a great way to help squad members gain self esteem, fitness, compassion & enjoyment from being part of a team and most importantly friendship. I want to coach children through my first hand experience and knowledge of fitness, movement and performance. My passion is to instill in children the importance of lifelong learning, health and fitness.’

Lizzie worked as a Professional Dancer for 13 years and now works as a personal trainer. While working as a dancer she toured with many bands including Take That, Boyzone, Steps, Anna Vissi and Roxy Music. TV work includes ‘Stars in your Eyes’, ‘Gladiators’, MTV Awards and The Royal Variety Shows.

The classes will start the following week on Wednesday 24th April.

Rising Stars (4.5 years-8 years old): 3.30pm-4.00pm & 4.00pm-4.30pm
All Stars (9 years +): 4.30pm-5.15pm

All levels are welcome and no previous experience is required. Chiltern Cheerleaders costs £60 per term (11-13 weeks per term).
