The 11th Chiltern Walking Festival starts 20th May for two weeks, featuring a programme of over 60 walks throughout the Chilterns. The walks take in stunning scenery, hilltop views, riverside walks, nature reserves, cafes, pubs, historic gardens, chalk streams and even a monastery. There are some immersive experiences at the festival with some brand new walks:

  • Watch the sun setting on Bradenham Woods Sunset Walk 24th May.
  • Enjoy the ups and downs of the Chilterns Three Peaks on 24th May, a 7 mile route visiting 3 of the highest peaks in the Chilterns.
  • Take in the birdsong and wildflowers of spring on 21st May, passing through a range of landscapes including Hartslock Nature Reserve and a stretch of the Thames Path.
