Local mum and founder of Inclusivity, Stephanie Dillon shares her special places with us.

We have two fabulous, yet incredibly active children, so heading out as a family always has 2 criteria; A) is there room to move, and B) are loud children permitted!

Black Horse Pub in Fulmerwww.theblackhorsefulmer.co.uk

We love this pub. Really great food, lovely ambience on the inside, and outside there is a children’s play area that keeps children entertained. And rumor has it George Clooney has visited this pub!

BlackHorseCliveden in Taplow – www.nationaltrust.org.uk/cliveden
We absolutely love Cliveden as there are so many things to do. On lazy days we hang around the kids park letting them play whilst we drink coffees. On more energetic days there is a kids trail to follow, a maze, beautiful walks, and riverboat rides to enjoy. There is also a lovely orangerie to enjoy afternoon tea in and a lovely gift shop as well.

Again another fab place for anyone who has kids with energy to burn! In addition to lovely woodland walks there is a beautiful lake to stroll around, a truly fab children’s park, and a family friendly café. It’s wonderful in summer, but truly spectacular in Autumn.

BlackParkBlenheim Palacewww.blenheimpalace.com

The home of Winston Churchill and about 20 minutes on the other side of Oxford. Absolutely worth visiting. A stunning palace that even had our kids engaged, plus beautiful grounds, a dedicated children’s playground area, and a train that all kids (big and small!) enjoy.

I accidently stumbled upon this place once when I was lost. But this is a lovely place where kids get to enjoy a train ride that takes them to a lake and man-made beach (take your spade and bucket!). There is also an area that has water fountains that spout up in various places which makes for lots of fun for the kids as well. Enjoy an ice cream as you head back to the car park by the train!

RuislipLidoHigginson Park, Marlowwww.wycombe.gov.uk/pages/Sports-leisure-and-tourism/Parks-and-play-areas/Parks/Higginson-Park.aspx

This is our favorite free park. Based in central Marlow by the river it is always heaving with activity and kids filled with glee. Great equipment that the kids love and afterwards we can take a nice stroll down by the river. Plus Marlow is just gorgeous so on a good day the hubby takes charge of the kids and I have a potter down the Marlow High St. In summer the park also includes a bouncy castle.
