Soft Play @ Worlds End Garden Centre (Wendover)

This is a fantastic garden centre, one of the best in the area. There have a great selection of plants and they usually have a few special offers (I bought 4 hebe plants for £20 :) which I thought was a bargain) The kids like this garden centre as there is a huge cafe with a reasonably sized soft play. It costs £1 per child and the money is donated to the NSPCC. As it's half term there are a few children's activities on. We did the bird hunt - you have to search for 10 pictures of birds dotted around the centre, mark them off on a piece of paper and then at the end the kids get a sticker. There were also running a craft activity each day - all information is on their website. The garden centre has a gift shop and an aquatic centre so you could easily spend at least half a day here.

Loved the garden centre and the restaurant is lovely and serves good food with a good selection. I found the play area really disappointing. It was as big as I thought it would be for a garden centre but is entirely behind glass with no designated area for parents to sit in there with the kids (although they are meant to be supervised). So unless your happy to let your kids go in to the soft play area by themselves and come and go into the restaurant area or 'hover' in the soft play area with no where to sit, then it's not great at all! You just can't see or hear what they are up to if you want to have a coffee at the same time. Apparently the one in Marlow's garden centre is set up a bit differently and solves this issue so I think I'll give this a go next time....

Took my 4yr old and 18mths old boys to the centre... We loved it.. Just 50p for a 1hr play, great cafe, lovely food and shoppe too.... Easy to get to and amble free parking. The play area is small but neat one.. Good for babies n toddlers...Highly Recommend it....nice garden centre with nice collection to bring home...

I love the World End Garden Centre. It has a lovely cafe with a smallish soft play area within the cafe. You pay 50p for the kids to play for an hour and you can sit and have a coffee and watch them. They love it too :) The garden centre itself is fab too. It's really big with a great selection of plants, plus they have a pets bit, gifts etc. You can join the Gardening Club (I think that's the name :)) loyalty scheme and you get discounts and special offers. At xmas time they have a Santas grotto which is great.
