Everyman  Cinema membership

Fingers crossed Everyman Cinema will reopen in December as this is the only way to watch a flick! Once you’ve experienced Everyman, I doubt you’ll want to go back to go to a ‘normal’ cinema again! Sour Dough Bread Workshop

2020 has definitely been the year for making bread 🙂 Sarah Liveing, based in Gerrards Crossed (mum of PT & Blogger Alice Liveing) is running a one day online tutorial workshop which will teach you how to make a starter – the essential component for a sourdough – through to making your very own loaf using Sarah’s “works every time” recipe.  Perfect pressie for any baker out that they wants to expand their repertoire! Learn to Sing with Robin 

Amersham based mum of two Robin Smirnov launched ‘Robin Sings’, offering online Zoom singing lessons during the first lockdown when many music lessons were moving online via Zoom. Robin is a highly experienced singing teacher who studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Westminster Choir College. A 30 minute lesson (£20) is a great way for kids to start and teenagers and adults often choose an hour lesson (£40). We’ll be stocking up on Twelve Below’s amazing tonics this Christmas. Hughenden Valley based Twelve Below, was started by friends Mel and Ross.  They are both passionate about food and drink and have a keen interest in a healthier lifestyle.  I discovered them during the summer and I have to say they are my favourite mixer for my G&T’s. Old Amersham Gin

Hello, coolest gin bottle ever! This local family start-up, Old Amersham Gin, began like all good stories do in the pub. Nelli has worked in her father’s quirky, historic pubs since she was 17 years old. Together, they began Old Amersham Gin two years ago, distilling two flavours; classic London Dry (best served with tonic and a slice of orange or sprig of mint), and the Rhubarb and Elderflower Pink Gin (best served with ginger Twelve Below tonic or a ginger ale and a wedge of lime).  Distilled using botanicals grown in their Old Amersham botanical garden. Christmas treat boxes from Mason Bakes

Nicola from Mason Bakes has just launched a Christmas boxes full of treats and she will be donating £10 from each box sold to Rennie Grove Hospice (RRP £30). All treats will be packaged in a clear topped box tied with ribbon and a tag, perfect for gifting (or ripping off and keeping for yourself!!).

Misbourne Deli is a friendly local company, personally delivering artisan cheeses and the finest accompaniments to your door, from Amersham to Aylesbury and everywhere in between.

The Chocolate Libertine combine fine Belgian chocolate with modern decorative techniques at their artisanal Buckinghamshire workshop. Almost too pretty to eat, these 4 pack hand painted baubles have been given a festive twist this year – they are filled with a dried fruit and nut filling. A friend recently took her son to Trick Tech Freestyle Coaching in Aylesbury for an hour long skate boarding lesson as part of his birthday present.
