My eldest son has attended the preschool since he was 2 1/2, he is now 4 and we are all so happy with it. He has progressed so much in that time, his confidence has grown and I put a lot of it down to the nurturing and developmental support he has been given at Seer Green preschool. He has built great relationships with the teachers and children and now has great mates! (As do I with a lot of the mums!) The preschool staff are brilliant, the majority of them are mums themselves and are so warm, friendly, welcoming and kind to the children which at this age is so important. He is learning loads; in terms of building his personality, building friendships, and academically...his maths and writing are coming along really well.
The preschool really care about him and I feel like he is in great hands. The outdoor space is also a big bonus. The preschool is a charity and they are constantly putting back into the preschool.
We would highly recommend sending your child or children.

My son started at this Pre-school in October 2015. I was very surprised at how quickly he settled given how long he has taken to settle in his previous nursery. He looks forward to going to see his friends and often even asks to go! This never happened at the previous place. There is a genuine caring community that surrounds the Pre-school and encompasses the children, parents and staff. I couldn't recommend the Pre-School and its staff highly enough.

My son spent 2 years at Seer Green Preschool and my daughter just started in September. I can honestly say it is a truly fabulous preschool. Before my son started I wasn't sure about the unusual fixed hours but it works brilliantly. The children are always in the same sessions so they get to know each other really well and the staff clearly know each child extremely well too. I watched my son grow in confidence and then move on to settle effortlessly in school - I have no doubt this setting helped him do that. My daughter has settled really well this term too, has made some good friends already and comes home full of excitement about all the things she's done and learnt. The staff at the Pre-School are fantastic, they put a huge amount of effort into the themes providing a wonderful focus for each half term, with a range of structured activities to develop their skills in line with EYFS as well as plenty of time for free play which is so important for them to develop friendships, confidence and self-identity. Each 3 hour slot is also just long enough for the children to get real value without exhausting them. If you're a working mum like me then it's well worth finding the wrap-around childcare to make it work.
Whilst run by a team of experienced professionals, the Pre-School is managed by a committee of parents, ensuring as well as the strong focus on the children it has a really friendly atmosphere. As a mum I've made a huge number of friends from the Pre-School both within Seer Green and outside.

My daughter has been attending for nearly a year and I can not praise the Pre-School enough.
Their settling-in process is great and completely tailored to each individual child. The variety of activities they offer is fantastic. Each half term they have a different theme and parents are provided with a weekly breakdown in advance of what they will cover. One was nursery rhymes and my daughter loved going on a walk in the woods and spotting all of the different nursery characters and props which had been hidden for them! They also have a letter, number, colour and shape of the week.
The year before they begin primary school all the older Pre-School children attend a Friday session where they prepare them for the transition. They do activities such as attending assembly at the main school, going into the playground when the school are playing, having lunch at the main school and PE (which begins with just learning how to take their shoes and socks off on their own!). For me as a parent I really feel this will help my daughter when it comes to her starting primary school.
I would 100% recommend Seer Green Pre-School to anyone.

Seer Green Nursery was renamed Seer Green Preschool over a year ago now. My son attended the school only for two terms. Initially quite a friendly but lacks structure and direction for the children I'm afraid. And quite expensive!
