This is a fantastic playground, you could easily spend a day here with the kids combined with a walk up The River Chess. We took our scooters to the skate park first and then headed to the playground. The playground has loads of great equipment to keep the children entertained including a massive sandpit, climbing trees (like a climbing wall but a tree :)), zip wire etc. The kids absolutely loved it. There are benches and picnic benches in the play area if you fancy a rest :) It's a 2 minutes walk from the play area to The River Chess and it's the perfect place for a spot of lunch and river dip after they’ve had their play! We took our fishing nets and the boys spent hours in the river splashing around! I live in the Chalfonts and it took about 20 minutes by car, so not far at all.
