The science museum is our favourite place
We take a trip by train to the science museum quite often as it is our favourite place in london. My 2year old is fascinated by EVERYTHING in there! There is a special area for under 5's to learn about science through play although i advise a spare change of clothes as the water play is a bit messy. Theres a cafe and a picnic area and the toilets are clean. We visited over the easter bank holiday and was impressed by a 'bubble' talk in a large room with poofy cushions for the kids to watch the bubble show and learn more about sciency stuff without realizing! What more could you want for FREE?!

great for the kids - just get there early
Great museum for the kids (especially on the third floor where they get to interact and play with stuff). Go on a sunday (as parking is free and no congestion charge) and get there before it opens to avoid the queues an be out by lunchtime!
