Phizz-whizzing news – the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden is re-opening on 20 October 2018 – just in time for half term! The Museum has been closed since late May when a flash flood caused damage to one of the three galleries. Everything had to be stripped out and recreated over the summer, including the fantabulous replica Writing Hut where you can try out Roald Dahl’s writing chair.
Visit the Museum for a half term week brimful of Twits’ Tricks and Matilda Magic – optical illusions, kaleidoscopes and wondercrump contraptions. Create a disgusterous Twits’ dinner plate, a witchy mask or a crodswoggling clay critter and join in with swishwiffling storytelling.
Have a look at www.roalddahl.com/museum/whats-on/october-2018 for dates and details of all October half term and Autumn weekend events.
