A lovely place for a walk and coffee
Overall rating
I met up with a friend earlier this week at the aquadrome and we popped into the cafe for coffee and catch up. The cafe itself is really nice and big and the prices are very reasonable. The cakes are amazing, as is the coffee :) The cafe is very child friendly but it also has an adult only room which i think is nice if you're lucky enough to escape with no kiddies :) There's a nice walk around the lake and a playground for the kids - so something for everyone. Plus as mentioned by another reviewer it's free to park which is an added bonus!
Lovely walk & great cafe

We've been going to the Aquadrome for years and the kids just love it. There's a nice walk around the lake and the path is good for scooters, bikes and pushchairs, (we've been with them all:)). The playground is set back from the lake just behind the water-ski school/club. It's got lots of equipment for both young ones and the older kids, so everyone is happy! The cafe is fab with great food and the ice cream is a favourite with my kids, they also have kids books so you can enjoy your coffee in peace:) It's also free to park so a big thumbs up.

A great place to go and let the children let off steam. The lake is pretty to walk around and there is a good playground. The highlight is the cafe where they sell delicious food and really good ice creams.
