We visited Alexandra Gardens in Windsor for a round of adventure golf at Extreme Motion following a recommendation by a friend.
The course is located alongside the Thames offering the perfect location if you want a longer day out, as you could walk along the river, explore Windsor or if the weather is good have a picnic. The course is compact and they have been very clever with the layout. We played a round of 18 holes which probably took about an hour as there were five children (ranging from 9 to 13 year olds). There’s an ice cream counter right next to the course, so we had an ice cream at the end and then a quick stroll along the Thames.
We had a really enjoyable morning out and I would definitely take the kids back. You can’t PRE book, you just rock up on the day, but when we visited It wasn’t busy which was nice as we could take our time.
In terms of mini golf courses go, Dinosaur Escape in Northolt is probably better as it’s a bigger course and more spread out (read our review here), but I did really like this course and the location on the river lends itself to a nice day out combining another activity such as a picnic or walk. Price wise it’s also good value !
I parked on Barry Avenue, right outside the adventure golf. The road was really quiet but there are lots of different parking options close by – it’s a no through road and paid for parking via RingGo which was super easy. I paid £4.20 for 2 hours. My friend parked in the leisure centre car park which was a few moment walk away and parking cost £1.80 for 2 hours.
Really good value for an hour or so of entertainment, £6.50 Adults ,£5.50 under 14s & senior citizens
