The Cricketers Pub in Sarratt

The Cricketers overlooks the green in the heart of Sarratt village ‑ a great place to sit on a sunny day watching the world roll by! There is also a pretty garden at the back.

The Plough Hyde Heath

The Plough was recommended by a good friend that lives in Hyde Heath. It’s a family run independent pub that has recently undergone a refurbishment which includes a new outdoor seating area! It’s opposite Hyde Heath Common so perfect pit stop if you’re out walking.

The Nags Head, Great Missenden

I’ve booked a table in the tipi in June for my birthday! Gorgeous location and recently voted no 1 in The Telegraphs Top 50 Best Pubs with Gardens to visit!

They plan to reopen on 17th May, however if the weather forecast looks great from the beginning of May they may open sooner! The pub has a beautiful tiered garden with fantastic views over the Vale of Aylesbury. This would be a great place to eat at after a visit to Waddesdon Manor.

A lovely family pub on Hawbridge Common. Perfect for walkers and cyclists. They have 2 outdoor marquees and the bakery counter is open from 9am.

Wisteria clad, Georgian gem of a pub in Denham Village with a sun trap garden hidden out back! They will have a phased opening from the 12th of April. Reservations can be made for the lower terrace every Friday Saturday and Sunday ‑ all other tables will be on a first come first serve basis.

The Lion of Beaconsfield will have some lovely thatched heated huts in their garden in addition to other outdoor seating areas. They will be open from the 12th of April ‑ initially they will be offering a rotating and limited dining menu until full service resumes hopefully on May 17th.

The Red Lion in Little Missenden

I’ve cycled through Little Missenden several times and always wanted to visit the Red Lion. It’s in a fab location, right by the South Bucks Way so perfect to combine a pub lunch & walk. The beer garden is on the banks of the River Misbourne making it a perfect setting.
