Playtrain

I took the kids to playtrain during the half term holidays and was surprised how quiet it was. There was plenty of equipment and toys to tire the kids out on a wet afternoon. The cost was reasonable, £6.10 for under 9’s and there was no time limit so we could have spent the whole day there. The play area was secure with a locked gate to stop any would be escapees making a dash for the door. The café was fairly priced with plenty of selection of food, drinks and snack. The only negative was that the tables hadn’t been cleaned from the lunchtime rush, so it appeared a bit messy. While we were there the tables were cleaned and floored swept, but not the best first impression when we first arrived. Playtrain only allow under 9’s to use the playframe which makes it great for young children to play freely without the worry of older children dominating the equipment.
