We have a bit of a new year crush! Out of the Dark is a charitable social enterprise that recycles, restores & revamps salvaged furniture as a means to train, educate and employ young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Take a look at some of the amazing pieces they have salvaged and given a new lease of life. I’m mentally redecorating my house as I write 🙂

As part of Henley House & Garden Show (28th February – 1st March), Out of the Dark will be working with Lynne Lambourne from Love Nellie (Contestant on BBC 2 ‘The Great Interior Design Challenge’ ) to turn the Old Fire station in Henley on Thames into a mecca for Up-cycling. Together they will be teaching some Furniture up-cycling – details of the workshops to follow soon. Watch this space 🙂

Out of the Dark is based in High Wycombe (just outside the centre), the Out of the Dark showroom is open on Fridays and Saturdays 10am-5pm, or by appointment. Or you can buy online at www.outofthedark.org.uk For the whole of January they have 20% off EVERYTHING.
