A popular charity cycling extravaganza is set to return this year with a bigger and better event. Now in its fourth year, Ride Chartridge – one of Buckinghamshire’s most beautiful rides, will take place on May 7.

RidechartridgeRiders have a choice of four distances through the stunning Chilterns countryside. Families will enjoy the relaxed 16km Family Ride, while newbies are welcome on the Red Run of 50km. More experienced riders will love the challenge of the Black Run, a dramatic ride of 100km. Or for an even greater test of stamina, there’s the 120km Black Run Extra, aimed at experienced cyclists who are looking for an early season leg-stretcher. The ride costs £5 per family for the Family Ride, and £25 for all other runs (£10 for under-16s on the Red Run.)

Everyone who takes part can look forward to a clearly signed route, a well-stocked lunch stop, a text-based timing service, event photographs and a goody-bag. The school will again host a kids’ festival on the day, which will include many different activities for everybody to take part in.
