I’m Zoe, and I live in Beaconsfield with my husband and three children, aged 13, 11 and 8. I run Octopus Marketing, an agency offering freelance marketing support across the mix, including social media, copywriting, content and email. We’ve lived in Beaconsfield for nearly 9 years, but I also grew up here so am lucky to have my parents close by.

Best meal you’ve had?

My best meal ever was more about the location and the lovely family time we had, rather than the food. Dr Frog’s on Koh Samui in Thailand has the most amazing views and we had one of those evenings as a family where the whole meal was fun, laughter and lovely chats. Having dinner out with kids doesn’t always go that way does it?!

What are you up to right now?

I’m in my warmest, comfiest clothes, delighted that all my children have a snow day tomorrow!

Best piece of advise you’ve been given?

If you don’t ask, you don’t get.  It is always worth approaching people with your ideas, the worst that can happen is they say no.

Who do you call when you want to have fun?

I’m a local girl and the friends I made at Becky High are like sisters to me – we never fail to have fun when we get together (which is never quite as often as I’d like!).

Best place for a nightcap?

Prime in Beaconsfield. The bar upstairs is beautiful: low lighting and cocktails. It looks like it could be in the centre of London and yet it’s just a few minutes walk from my home.

Favourite shops?

I shop online mostly and I love ASOS for the variety of brands, plus their own affordable lines. Locally I also love Heidi and Hudson in Gerrards Cross.

Last book you read?

Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan – it’s set in 1940s New York, which I love reading about.

Biggest extravagance?

Holidays and weekends away.

Can’t live without?

Well, obviously my family, but other than that I’d have to say books. Too many books, not enough time.
