We caught up with local business woman Amy Pratsides to discover her favourite places in Amersham. Amy runs her own consultancy, Pratsides & Co. supporting local businesses with PR and marketing needs, as well as being a mum to her busy sons!
Favourite place for a coffee – Twelve Twenty
Twelve Twenty serves amazing fresh and delicious food and fantastic coffee, and is somewhere I like to drop in at while visiting clients in Amersham. It’s like the café version of Cheers!
Favourite place to shop – Odette Lingerie
Odette Lingerie in Old Amersham, is an aladins cave of beautiful things. Whether lingerie or swimwear, both are available all year round, so great place to top up your holiday wardrobe. You will never come out empty handed.
Favourite place for a pamper session – Gatsby & Miller
Gatsby & Miller is where I head for a much needed bit of focus on my hair, or a blow dry for a night out. The team are always welcoming and friendly, it’s a great place to switch off and enjoy some me time.
Treat with the kids – Baskin Robbins
My two boys Zac and Ethan (actually three including my husband!) love a sweet treat, so we have been known to head to Baskin Robbins, for a family outing for ice cream!
As a family we love discovering the great outdoors, goes with the territory of having my adventurous boys. Over the Easter holiday we headed to Loch Lomond, Scotland. I discovered Mountain Warehouse in Amersham, for all that we needed, from wellies, fleeces and waterproofs they have it all.
Native Feast are a pop up supper club covering the Buckinghamshire area, they are all about local/seasonal produce, and create incredible food and atmosphere in the locations they use.
