Halloween Dining Event in the Yurt

A few months ago, we told you about the gorgeous Wild Strawberry Café at Peterley Manor Farm. So we were excited when we heard about a Halloween Dining event in the yurt on Saturday 1st November. Wild Strawberry Café’s first official “supper club” will begin with a haunting Halloween feast with a themed set menu comprising of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The dining extravaganza will include welcome “apple bobbing’ cocktails, creepy canapés, three courses plus coffee and ‘death by chocolate’ petit fours (menu below). There will also be a selection of wine and beers to purchase on the night. Tickets need to be pre booked (in the yurt) and cost £37.50 per person. We are already have plans that evening or else we would have definitely gone – sounds so much fun.

For those of you that haven’t been to the Wild Strawberry Café, there is still time to head along, as the cafe is remaining open until Christmas 🙂 Usual opening times are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am- 1pm. The menu changes with the seasons, and now includes scotch eggs, autumnal salads, and specials such as warming soups, gratins, winter fritters to name but a few. Plus there is a wood burner going so its nice and cosy in the yurt!
