This year’s festive light display in aid of Macmillan Cancer is back in St Giles from 1st December with some new additions! We went a couple of year’s ago and it was such a lovely evening – you can read the full review below. Lights go on at 4.00pm each day and will be on every evening until the New year.
This evening we headed to Dibden Hill in Chalfont St Giles to see the amazing Christmas light display by local couple Jeff & Gaynor (of Dibden Hill, Chalfont St. Giles) which raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The display was awesome, Evie loved it. Jeff and Gaynor came out to say hello to us and offered Evie a chocolate (they know the way to her heart :))
Jeff & Gaynor work so hard every year, always adding one or two extra pieces to the collection. Everyone is invited to head along and see their amazing display – they ask for a small donation towards Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to their hearts (there is a bucket at the front of the house).
The lights are switched on each day at 4pm until around 10pm.
If you’re coming from outside the area, from Chalfont St Giles village, drive past the duck pond & shops on the left and turn left onto Bowstridge Lane. There is a cemetery on the right hand side at the top of the hill with parking on the road. I would advise parking here and then walking down Bowstridge towards Dibden Hill (2 minute walk). The house is at the top of Dibden Hill on the left from Bowstridge Lane (you certainly won’t be able to miss it!) Please note that Dibden Hill is an unmade single track residential road so we wouldn’t advise driving along it.
Location: Dibden Hill, Chalfont St Giles.
