Support your local hospital by taking part in the Scrub Run. This new family fun run has two routes anf two distances to appeal to the whole family whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of Amersham Cricket Club and Shardeloes.

• 1k starts at 12.30pm

Fancy Dress: Scrubs (optional) Each place includes entry into both the 5k and 1k runs and a Scrub Run Medal. Scannappeal, a local charity that raises vital funds to buy state of the art medical equipment for Stoke Mandeville, Amersham, Wycombe and community hospitals and services which help local people and their families. This year is an extremely special milestone for Scannappeal as it celebrates its 30^th Anniversary. Over £12m has been raised since it was founded and it has funded equipment in every major department in the hospitals that it supports. Equipment purchased benefits 1 in 4 Buckinghamshire residents and is often able to reduce waiting times and accelerate diagnosis and treatment.
