The return of the Bucks Federation of WIs ever popular and "real" Investigation & Discovery live event!   Tickets only £20 each, or £18 for WI members.  And that for a whole procession of top notch speakers - leaders in their field

Speakers confirmed are:
Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell DBE FRS FRSE FRAS FInstP . Dame Jocelyn is an astrophysicist who, as a postgraduate student in 1967, discovered the first radio pulsars. The discovery earned the Nobel Prize for Physics (1974). Interestingly, she not one of the recipients of the prize. She will describe her "Life in Astrophysics".

Dr Kat Arney (see image) - Kat is an award-winning science writer, author, presenter, broadcaster, podcaster and also Creative Director of communications consultancy First Create the Media. Her presentation is titled "Rebel Cell: Aspects of Cancer".

Rob Hines, M.Eng. University of Southampton. Rob's presentation is "Carbon Capture". He is Commercial Manager for Sonardyne International Ltd. a multifaceted company operating in the marine environment from enabling the recovery of the Marie Rose to operating ultra sophisticated sub-sea technology.

Professor Nick Hawes - Oxford Robotics Institute. Nick is Associate Professor, Oxford Robotics Institute , University of Oxford and will speak on the topic of "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence".
