Join former RAF pilot Graham Laurie for a free family talk about Roald Dahl’s adventures in the RAF.

Roald Dahl signed up for the RAF on the outbreak of the Second World War, when he was 23 years old. In this talk you'll find out about Roald Dahl's pilot training, learn about the planes he flew while in North Africa and Greece, and the battles he fought in. 

About Graham Laurie
Graham Laurie joined the Royal Air Force as a pilot in 1964. He flew for 36 years and during the last 20 years of that career he flew members of the Royal Family and senior government ministers. In 1981 he was selected for The Queen’s Flight and completed over 2,200 Royal Flights.

Times: 12.00pm, 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Cost: Free with Museum entry, but please do book your places as spaces are limited.

Age: suitable for 8 years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
