The BEST SUMMER HOLIDAY Tech Creativity and Art Camp

Old Beaconsfield

'....one two three creativity...'

We will be operating over 3 weeks this summer holiday ;

  1. July 25, 26 & 27th

  2. August 6, 7 & 8th

  3. August 28, 29th & 30th

Each weekly camp lasts 3 days and operates for 5 hours a day with extended hours available for supervised park time play.

DAY 1...GRAFFITI DANCE PAINTING

The art of Graffiti influences our streets and the variety of new artists since Banksy has changed our impression of this art form. Spray paint is the material and we use boards like many artists to make the work transportable.

Debra is the founder of Mini Monets, Head of Art and design at the Chalfonts Independent Grammar school and an international contemporary sculptor ( www.dfbean.com)

Joey Ordo will be creating dance moves to shake up the body to groovy beats!

DAY 2 FUN WITH CLAY sculpture and animation

We will be learning the basics of working with clay and sculpting our very own clay animals and people - we will teach the students how to use an armature and then different coverings in Clay, modroc, and plastic to create sculptures and animations using digital technology.

We will use air dry clay and paint the models on the day and children will be able to take their creations home with them on the day!

DAY 3 LEGO ROBOT WARS

  • Build a simplistic first robot

  • CODE the robot using simple 5-Square programming

  • Learn to build level 1 and Level 2 Robots throughout the day

  • Which they will be able to control using their own individual Hudl computer tablet

  • Learn to code simple programs using "Robo Literate"

  • At the end of each camp day, the children will compete against each other in a big fantasy game of Robot wars!!!!
