Marvellous Medicine with Roald Dahl's DoctorRoald Dahl was fascinated with medicine and had a lasting impact on it. Join his doctor, Professor Tom Solomon, who uses Roald’s stories to explain how the body works, what can go wrong and how we can fix it. He describes how Roald invented a medical device and new treatment still in use today. You’ll also produce Gobblefunk and learn how to make your own marvellous medicine.
Event detailsTimes: 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm Cost: £3 per person, adults and children. Everyone who attends needs to pay for a space although children under 2 who can sit on laps are free of charge. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop. Age: strongly recommended for 7 years. Under 8s will need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Please be aware this workshop hasn't been designed for children under the age of 7. Any participants aged 2 to 6 will still be charged. Type of workshop: interactive event that might be loud. You can volunteer to join in if you like! Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until 4.30pm the day before (subject to availability).
