Event Details
Behind the Georgian elegance of wigs and frockcoats there was an everyday world inhabited by ordinary people trying to make an honest, and dishonest, living. With a professional police force belonging to later centuries, the roads are plagued by highwaymen, the inns filled with drunks and gamblers, and the streets inhabited by rogues and thieves. Fortunately, our own thief-taker will be there to guide you, and help recover your stolen property (for a fee, of course). “Your money or your life?” Will you meet the dreaded Highwaymen?
