Event Details

Come and have a go at making your very own Christmas wreath for your home using natural materials sustainably foraged by our staff from our very own Buckinghamshire Country Parks. Enjoy a mince pie and music by the fire and get creative!

Meeting place:  Meadow View in Langley Park (5 -10 minute walk from public car park)


Who needs to purchase a ticket?

Everyone attending needs a ticket, due to limited space and capacity in the venue.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Suitable for ages 16 only. Buckinghamshire Council reserve the right to refuse anyone who turns up for a session who is under 16 years old.  Under 18s must be accompanied by a full-paying adult.

When do I need to arrive?

Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to park up and walk to Meadow View (5 -10 mins walk) ready to start your session.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Langley Park has a pay and display public car park located off Billet Lane (SL0 0LS).  All those booked onto the workshop who plan to park their car for the duration of the session will be required to pay for parking in the P&D public car park in Langley Park. 

What do I need to bring to the event?

Mince pies will be made available free of charge at Meadow View. Please note due to Covid-19 we will not be providing drinks at the event location itself. The Langley Park Tearoom (next to the car park) sells hot and cold lunches, snacks and drinks should anyone wish to buy food/drink on site and you are welcome to bring these with you.

What changes have been made to reduce transmission of COVID-19?

  • A prompt exit once your session has ended is required to allow time for additional cleaning of equipment.
  • Please bring your own drinks and other refreshments (as above).
  • Hand gel stations will be available, however we encourage you to bring your own.
  • Changes may be made to the running of the sessions to follow any changes in government guidance.

• A loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with the expectation of a refund or ticket transfer for a session must be made at least 7 days before the start of the booked-for session. This is to allow enough time for others on the waiting list to be given the opportunity to attend. Unfortunately, refunds are not applicable for no shows, illness (with the exception of COVID 19) or not being able to attend. A refund will be provided where someone in the household has tested positive for COVID 19 or showing symptoms and are waiting a test result. Proof of a positive test must be provided. Refunds will also be made in the event we cancel the session for example due to staffing issues or park closures.

In what situations could the event be cancelled?

BC reserve the right to cancel / postpone a session at the last minute due to the minimum number of bookings not met, adverse weather conditions forecast, as a result of staff members having to self-isolate due to Covid-19 or if government guidance around events of this nature changes. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can either bring your printed ticket or show your eticket on your mobile phone on arrival.
