Event Details

Bring your family enjoy some relaxed festive singing together, in the warmth and comfort of St Mary's Church. This is an informal carol service, with no religious content, where you are invited to help fill the church to the rafters with traditional Christmas Carols in a very relaxed, warm, friendly atmosphere. Children from the Turnfurlong Junior School Choir along with Caduceus Brass Quintet and The Wingrave Singers will lead the carols, with Dez Kay compering the evenings singing. We will be serving tea, coffee and hot chocolate with a mince pie or two, courtesy of Tesco Tring Road and the Matrix Scouts, whilst raising funds for the Mayor’s charity, Inspire All. You and the children can wander round the church whilst enjoying the singing and the entire family can get into the festive spirit with a good old Christmas sing-a-long. Christmas jumpers and festive acesories are very much encouraged. Carolfest takes place after a full day of activities in the town centre – please see the separate event listing for Festive Family Fun, for more information.
