Event Details
You’ll find out about the many boat journeys that Roald Dahl made which helped him to write about James and the peach’s travels across the sea. We’ll make a simple boat as well as a waterscape container to float your boat in it!
Times: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm
Cost: £3 per participant. Adults are welcome to pay to make their own. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.
Age: suitable for 5 years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult (no more than two non-participating adults will be allowed in the room per group). Participating children under 5 years will still need to pay.
Type of workshop: craft workshop - you might get messy! All materials will supplied.
Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until the day before (subject to availability). Workshop options will appear after selecting your Museum admission.
