Event Details

Do you want to help the birds in your garden, if so why not build them a bird box they can call home?  Join us at Whiteleaf Hill Nature Reserve near Princes Risborough to make your own bird box and willow bird feeder for your garden.  A great way to help birds is to put up nest boxes, where birds can raise their young as nest boxes can replicate holes in tree trunks that birds use for shelter.

Also as the birds are busy feeding young and themselves, another important way to help out birds is to provide them with additional food sources. This can be through putting out feed for them in your homemade willow bird feeder.

This will be followed by a walk to Brush Hill Nature Reserve for some bird spotting.

This is being run by Jools Hopton from Nature’s Jewels who has 26 years experience in Environmental Education & Conservation and an undying passion for Nature and Wildlife.  Nature’s Jewels help inspire children, families & individuals to get close to nature through hands-on experiences.

All equipment is included in the price.  Children must be accompanied by an adult, please book tickets below.

Junior Ranger Members can attend two Vitamin N events free of charge.  For more details about our Junior Ranger Membership, click here.
