The Bertrands are having a family Fun Day at the Memorial Centre in Gerrards Cross on Saturday 16th September 2017 and the aim is to raise money for surgery for James and to raise awareness for other amputees like James, the objective is to start the ball in motion for the NHS to consider this surgery in the future.  The procedure will save the NHS money in the long term and make many amputees live limitless lives.   James is one of the people who will benefit and the family are hoping to build up a pot of money to be able to offer potential amputees who also are not in a position to fund the surgery which costs around £90,000 per leg.
