Explore and get messy at Black Park!
Join us in Black Pines Camp for some fun in the woods! We have a variety of activities for your tot to go wild, including the mud kitchen, digging pit, water play, bug hunting, weaving, balancing and more.
What is Tots Go Wild all about?
Tots Go Wild is aimed at children aged 1-5 years (from when they can walk independently till they are in full-time education).
Tots Go Wild takes place on most Fridays during term time throughout the year. Morning sessions run from 10:00-11:30 and afternoon sessions run from 13:00-14:30. We stagger the release of our tickets in line with the start of each new school half-term.
There will be a themed activity each week, plus multiple other activity stations. The sessions are child-led, with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence. During October through to May we regularly have a fire.
You can casually book the date(s) you'd like to attend, or block book the full half-term (six sessions) to guarantee a place each week and receive a discount.
We go ahead in all weathers - unless deemed unsafe - so please dress appropriately!

Panchkarma Center in Rishikesh, India
In order for us to live in our intended natural state, happiness, health, and a sense of inner wellness are considered to be the three prerequisites for doing our Panchakarma Center in Rishikesh,. These three elements can easily be overlooked in the bustling and stressful modern world, which not only results in a lack of fulfilment or satisfaction but also a wide range of mental and physical health issues.

Panchakarma, which translates to "the five actions" in Sanskrit, is a regimen that promotes the rejuvenation of both the body and the mind.in Rishikesh, Ayurveda Panchakarma therapy or treatment It is well-known throughout India as a potent self-healing practise and, as such, is a simple yet effective sort of therapy that many people find to be very useful.
A highly specialised and scientific branch of traditional medicine is Panchakarma Center in Rishikesh. It covers a wide range of topics, including healing, energy, goodness, and compassion, as well as food, music, beauty, and colours. However, by utilising the many therapeutic techniques we employ in our Panchakarma programme, you will be able to detoxify your body, bring balance to your system, and restore your body and mind to their original states. Additionally, you will be inspired to evaluate your lifestyle and make improvements that will enable you to go about your everyday activities without letting the worries and pressures of the outside world get to you.
c
A thorough consultation assessment is the first step in our Panchakarma Center in Rishikesh, programme so that we can individually adjust it to each person's needs. So that you can overcome your specific barriers to wellbeing and fulfilment, we will then give you a customised schedule of lessons, therapies, and yoga sessions. We will support you in tackling whatever challenges you are facing head-on and returning your health and happiness to their original states.

Sunday 14th May
New location for this year! Drift Limits Racetrack, Bovingdon Airfield, Upper Bourne End Ln, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 2RR
The Fun Run with a difference... Bubbles!
The course is family friendly, so you can walk, run, dance, jog, or toddle through the foam, and it's suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs too! Plus there's no time limit so you can go at your own pace - come join in a bubble fiesta and enjoy the party atmosphere!
Start and end in a sea of bubbles, with 8 bubble stations in between - it's a bubble bonanza...
Take advantage of our heavily discounted SUPER Early Bird prices. Registration prices will increase in January.
Super Early Bird Prices
Adults (18 and over) - £15
Children (Age 3 - 17) - £10
Infants (Age 0 - 2) - Free!
What's it all about?
A 5k fun run (it includes two loops so you can stop after one if you prefer)
8 colourful bubble stations!

It truly is an event for everyone (our youngest participants are under 1 and oldest over 75!)

Registration covers the cost of the event but fundraising has a huge impact on the care we provide to local patients and their families. Even £50 in sponsorship could help pay for an activity morning such as a pony day or craft session to help a boy who’s lost his mum build special memories and learn coping strategies. #AHandInTheDarkness
There's no official fundraising target, but we ask all of our participants to try and raise a minimum of £15 per person. We ask families or larger groups to try and raise over £50 together.

Archives are where memories are preserved and history is made. Buckinghamshire Archives preserves the county’s memory, but many of the stories it holds remain untold and undiscovered. These ‘hidden stories’ include the lives of LGBTQ people. This presentation will highlight some of the fascinating stories that have already been discovered in other archives, and examine some of the challenges of LGBTQ archival research.

Event Details
‘Sour Cherry Soup’, a new 45 minute one woman show tells the story of the changing landscapes and populations of the Chilterns, as well as how the history of cherries is also the history of Southern England, reflecting the richness of the landscape, past, present and future.
Written by playwright Sara Clifford for the Chalk, Cherries and Chairs Landscape Partnership Scheme, the show has been inspired by real stories of Chilterns people, gathered by Sara at creative workshops and discussions with community groups across the Chilterns.
The stunning chalk landscape of the Chilterns is crisscrossed by historic pathways, hillforts and burial mounds, full of ancient woodland, hedgerows and chalk streams, with traces of human occupation going back at least 5000 years – plus the cherry orchards, cultivated by generations of farmers plying the land, a bygone culture literally beneath our feet in the local towns and villages.
But it’s also a contemporary landscape, a thriving environment that supports busy town populations and diverse communities, as well as glorious walks across the hills and a fragile ecosystem of protected plants and animals. Join us to dive into the Chilterns in a way you may not have experienced before!

The Museum’s summer exhibition Hidden Hands: Women and Work in the Chilterns focuses on the little-known history of the lives of women working in Chilterns traditional crafts. The Woodlanders Lives & Landscapes project volunteers have spent years undertaking research on these women, and how they went about their daily lives.
Take a look with us at the census data and family history research that went into putting together Hidden Hands.
Talk by Keith Spencer, Wycombe Museum & Woodlanders Lives and Landscapes project volunteer.

Event Details
A popular view of the local furniture industry is of male workers in factories, with a centralised and mechanised industry that developed from the 18th century country crafts.
However, most of these ‘factories’ were in fact small workshops and many of the processes remained handcrafts. Some workers, even into the 20th century, were based in their homes, or in their workshops away from High Wycombe’s town centre. Women workers played a significant part in the industry, although their work has often been overlooked. Join Curator Dr Catherine Grigg for this fresh look at chair making in and around High Wycombe, from the 18th century to the 20th.
This is a longer version of the talk presented by Catherine to the Bucks Local History Network conference in October 2022.
