I tend to do classes at the gym such as spinning, circuits etc as I find it more motivating than working out on my own :) It's a nice gym with swimming pool, tennis courts and a cafe although I think it's one of DL's smaller branches. You cant take your kids into the gym as it's adults only which is a shame as there are obviously lots of children in the area but think this is because of its size.
One of the reasons I chose David Lloyd though is because they have a creche so I can book the little ones in whilst I do classes. I find that you literally have to book a week before at 845am to get your place the following week - its ok though as I have a weekly routine so I'm used to it now! The girls that work in the creche are lovely and they always have loads of fun activities going on. They are really creative and try and link in with what's happening that week eg halloween, christmas etc. My children love going there which always helps!
