We took the kids here on Friday evening for a treat (I couldn't be bother to cook :)). I booked a table for 5.45pm. I was told at booking that we would need to leave the table by 7.45pm as it was obviously booked later on but that was fine with us. With 3 young children, I knew we would be out by then. The children's set menu is £5.95 for 3 course and a drink (ie a blackcurrant or orange squash - you pay a £1 supplement for coke etc). The fajitas were quite spicy, which is fine for my children but if your child isn't used to spices it may be a bit much for them. They do offer cheese burger and chips if mexican food isn't to their liking :) We only ordered 2 meals as our youngest is only 2 but next time we would definitely order 3 kids meals as the portions aren't massive (my children eat ALOT!). The staff were really nice and great with the kids and even gave our youngest a free ice cream and squash even though she didn't get a kids meal. It was apparent from all the families in there that it's a popular family eatery :)

We noticed Chimichanga for the first time a few months ago when we were driving through Amersham Old Town. On Saturday we visited Chimichanga for the first time and had a great evening. We booked late afternoon on Saturday and were lucky to get a table as they were packed. Our waiter was fantastic, full of live and very attentive. The food was really tasty and very reasonably priced. It would be a great option for a big group night out. They have a 2 for 1 cocktail hour Monday to Friday from 5 until 7pm if you can get there early enough :) We will def be back again soon.
