CHILTERN OPEN AIR MUSEUM OPENS IT’S DOORS FOR 2017

Chiltern Open Air Museum opens for the 2017 season on Saturday 1^st April and to celebrate visitors can visit the Museum in return for a donation of your choice instead of paying the standard admission price.

The Museum will be holding a special multi-cultural event, with local communities and multi-cultural groups who will be sharing their own stories about the Museum’s buildings and demonstrate some of their own cultural activities.

Renowned local storyteller Alim Kamara will also be performing at the Museum at 12pm, 2pm & 3pm.

Plus there will be lots of cultural demonstrations including historic weaving, Iron Age cooking, basketry and traditional thatching.
