Super day out

We recently visited Chiltern Open Air Museum for their traditional Christmas event and had a lovely day out. There were lots of activities taking place throughout the day, with carol singing, arts and crafts for the children plus the children could meet Santa. The volunteers working at the museum are very knowledgeable and friendly, they all get into character and the kids loved seeing the blacksmith at work. We didn't venture to the children's play area as the weather was a bit cold, but we'll definitely visit again soon. What a super place to have on our doorstep. Think we'll invest in an annual pass and visit next year when they have more of their special event weekends.
