Cardio Tennis with Lucy


Tennis drills to music with lots of high energy moves thrown in. Sessions take place in Little Chalfont and Chesham. You don't need to be a good standard to participate but your tennis will certainly improve through increased fitness. Run by Lucy, an LTA qualified coach. First session is free.

I haven't played tennis since I was at school,(so quite a few years ago :)) but was talked into giving cardio tennis a try, thanks Sarah :) The class was great, lots of drills and getting the heart rate up, it felt like a really good workout. I was a bit apprehensive about the 'tennis bit' as I am so bad at tennis but I was really surprised how much fun it was, I was even able to hit a few balls, thanks to Lucy. There were so many different exercises and circuits that the hour flew past, I'm really looking forward to next week. The timing of the class is perfect to fit in with school runs, the cost of the class is very reasonable and you get the first class free. Would highly recommend cardio tennis with Lucy!

I used to play tennis a lot when I was younger but haven't played tennis properly for about 15 years (I'm showing my age :)!!) This year I joined a local tennis club as I decided I wanted to get back into tennis now that my boys have started playing tennis also. I love exercise and I really liked the sound of Lucy's cardio tennis so i thought that I would give it a go. I love the classes, every week is totally different and you definitely feel like you've had a good work out but most importantly its really good fun so it doesnt feel like you're working out. It's a really nice group of girls (I think the Chesham class is mixed) that go to the Little Chalfont Class - we have a giggle. If you havent played tennis for a while dont be put off, it really doesn't matter what your standard of tennis is but your tennis is bound to get better and your fitness will most certainly improve.
