Brent Lodge Park Animal Centre

last weekend we went to Brent Lodge Park Animsl Centre. There is a medium sized playground with loads of different equipment and quite a large maze and a cafe with seating outside (as well as some seats inside). The zoo itself is quite small with a small selection of animals (flamingo's, rabbits, meercats, llama, reptiles, peacocks and a few others) but the children enjoyed themselves. They are in the process of building a playground in the actual zoo which looked really good, similar to the playground they have at chiltern open air museum with a castle and other wooden equipment, but it wasn't finished. Parking was free and the zoo entry was very cheap. I think we paid £2.50 per adult. Its also got loads of open space so you could also have a picnic. I would definitely recommend it as a good cheap day out.
