+ 5 minutes with Chris & Jo from Hibiscus Supper Club
New Year’s Eve 2020 will look a lot different than last year’s celebration…. Instead of heading out for a night on the town (who am I kidding, I haven’t done this for years!), we have booked Beaconsfield based Hibiscus Supper Club for New Year’s Eve. It costs a very reasonable £30 per person for 4 courses plus you can add extras such as Cold Canapes (£8 per 2 sharing) a Cheese Board (£10 per 2 sharing) and a Grazing Platter (additional £20 for 2-4 people sharing). Below is a copy of their menu to tantalise your taste buds! We have opted for the 4 course menu for the 2 of us.
Hibiscus was started by friends Chris Wayland and Jo Rasenberg. Chris’s background has always been with food and excellent service, starting his career with Prue Leith, he worked on the Orient Express, at The Royal Palaces and Downing Street. Chris held executive chef roles at The Law Society, Hatfield House and Somerset House. Jo’s organisation skills stem from a background as a top level private secretary, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s and ensuring the smallest details are considered with a warm and friendly service. Eight years of working in front of house hospitality ensures both back and front of house work seamlessly together. You can read more about Chris & Jo below….
If you’re relieved that this year is almost over, you’re not alone! End it on a high with a cosy at home New Year’s eve celebration and let Hibiscus do the hard work and bring the food to you!

Tell us more about the Hibiscus Supper Club?
With our event catering business on hold due to the pandemic, we needed to do something to keep our business alive and moving forward, so we came up with the concept of ‘Hibiscus Supper Club’
Here’s the concept… Dine in style at home. Three delicious, fully prepared courses delivered to your home for just £20.00 per person – with contactless delivery. Your order will arrive chilled ready for you to serve/cook/heat at your convenience! This has been great for a whole variety of different clients, but particularly parents with young children who haven’t been able to get out as much as they would like (no baby sitter required!)
Our December Festive menu features a choice of 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts with extra treats available too! Gluten free and vegan options included. Keep an eye out for our monthly Feasting Menus!
We also have an amazing 4 course New Year’s Eve menu available at £30.00 per person.
