Assistant Director – Bucks County Museum Trust
Salary: £35,000 per year
37 hours per week with regular weekend and evening working as necessary
Bucks County Museum Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced manager in the heritage sector or related sectors to lead the operations teams in a forward-looking and fast developing independent museum with National Portfolio Organisation status. We have an opportunity to restructure and create this new post to work alongside the Head of Exhibitions to ensure excellence in visitor experience and a fantastic visitor offer. The postholder will be joining the museum at an exciting time of development as the Museum is currently working on plans to replace the old galleries with a new permanent gallery telling the story of Bucks.
You will have had significant management experience ideally in the heritage or charity sector including staff and volunteer management experience and will have excellent people and organisational skills.
