AMF Bowling

Took the kids bowling after school as a reward for good behaviour and they loved it. We went on a Monday afternoon and the place was really quiet so didn't need to wait to play a game, just walked straight in. The staff were really helpful with setting up the lane with bumpers for the kids and offering to get drinks etc. Worth checking online for any offers they have. After we'd finished our game we went next door to Frankie & Benny's for dinner which was really reasonable, just £3.95 for a kids meal which includes a drink, meal and dessert, plus they have activity packs to keep the kids busy while waiting for their food.

A great place to go when it's cold and wet outside. I would definitely recommend pre-booking to avoid waiting around when you get there. Lots to keep the kids entertained, the bowling is great because you select the players who need the bumpers and they work automatically, letting the grown ups have a proper game and show off their skills! We took our 3 and 6 year olds and they loved it. Not too expensive, you should check their website for deals and you also get discount vouchers when you're there for your next game.

We had a great day out with the kids bowling. They have the side bumpers which you can use for young ones (I could have done with them too!). Relatively inexpensive but even better if you can find a discount voucher - check their website for deals.
