The Amersham Round Table is delighted to announce the screening of all 3 live RBS 6 nations rugby matches on the final weekend of the tournament. The day will include a live performance from local band Miracle Cure who will play a collection of Celtic classics. A fully licenced bar and food will be served all day.
The 3 matches are:
Italy vs Scotland 12:30pm, Stadio Olimpico, Rome
England vs Ireland 2:45pm, Twickenham, London
Wales vs France 5:00pm, Principality Stadium, Cardiff
Each game will be shown on a large format projection screen. The entrance fee is £10 per adult that includes £5 worth of drinks and a commemorative pint glass, payable on the door. Doors open at midday and the event will run until late.
Miracle Cure from Gerrards Cross, known for cutting their teeth playing the Irish pub circuit, will conclude this brilliant day of festivities. The band will play a number of traditional Irish anthems along with a set of classic indie rock tracks. Furthermore, local musician Arrun Harker will DJ and play an acoustic set.
John Webster, Chairman of Amersham Round Table, told us “This really is a chance to come along, enjoy the rugby and live music whilst sampling a range of craft beers or a pint or 2 of Guinness. We felt this was a unique situation with St Patrick’s Day falling on the same day as the finale of the RBS 6 Nations tournament, so creating an event to raise funds for local organisations seemed like a great idea”.
Amersham Round Table is at the heart of the Amersham community. It is a group of local young men who help to make events like Carnival happen, whilst also a fantastic social club and great fun for members. Anyone wanting to find out more about joining please get in touch.
