Since covid I’d kind of lost my mojo when it came to workouts (I run, play tennis but hadn’t really done weights etc) but I was keen to get back to training.
In November I stumbled across Body Health Fitness in Chalfont St Peter whilst dropping my daughter at footie. I looked them up on insta and saw that they offered a free fitness trial week so I thought I would give it a whirl. I filled out some forms online and then had an initial chat with Jordan one of the coaches about my current fitness level (they cater to all levels), my aims & what I wanted to achieve. I was really impressed with my initial chat and signed up to the free trial week.
I’m not going to lie 😜, the first week was tough 😂😂😂 but in a good way. I started using muscles that I hadn’t used in a LONG time so I did feel sore. I spoke with Jordan one of the trainers and he was really good & adapted the exercises for me so using body weight as opposed to dumb bells etc.
The trainers (Jordan, Ben & George) are fantastic, very motivating and push you to be better. It can be intimidating starting somewhere new but I can honestly say that I’ve felt very welcomed -everyone is very friendly and there is a real sense of community. Each workout is completely different so you literally never know what to expect and I really look forward to the sessions. They use a variety of equipment from SkiErg, Assault Bikes, wall balls, kettle bells, dumb bells etc!
A month and a half in and I love it! I’m training 3 times a week. They run 45 minutes classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday (6.15am, 7.15am, 9.15am,10.15am, 5.30pm and 6.30pm) and a 1 hour class every Saturday at 8am so lots of options. They also offer 2 online abs classes every Tuesday & Thursday morning, so you can work out 6 days a week if you like.
