Mauritius…perfect for families
With summer officially over (we’re joking of course ☺ fingers & toes crossed!) we’ve been day dreaming about far-flung beach destinations. When it comes to booking our family holidays there is nothing we value more than personal recommendations. With that in mind we spoke with James Bell from Turquoise, Sales and Marketing Director, father of Angus (5) and Sophie (9) who gave us the low down on Mauritius:
Mauritius Fact File
Flight Time – 12 hours direct, 14 hours indirect
Weather – Year round destination – Peak season is October to April
Time Difference – +4hrs GMT
As a family run business we know how difficult the annual holiday discussion can be … what to do and where to go this year, what experiences can we share together and most importantly finding the right destination to suit all ages.
The Indian Ocean island of Mauritius is our top destination, with something to offer even the most discerning of families. Renowned for its tropical climate, beach-side living and clear blue seas, Mauritius has everything you require from a luxury holiday.
The resorts and hotels which we feature within our portfolio are extremely safe and provide excellent family facilities and packages, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy being away together. With some of the most established kids clubs in the Indian Ocean, parents are given the opportunity to have a proper escape and enjoy world class spa’s, facilities and dining experiences.
It is the small details that the Turquoise family team strive to convey which make us unique, and we hope, the reason which ensures that once you have travelled as a Turquoise family, you will stay with us throughout your school days and beyond.
