This is a fantastic pub in a beautiful location! We went there last Friday with some friends for dinner. You order your food at the bar, so perfect for a laid back, relaxed evening. The food was good and reasonably priced. We absolutely love the location of this pub, it's such a pretty location - perfect for a pub lunch and walk. There are lots of tables outside too which is great when the weather is warmer. We've been there with our kids and it's great, so definitely kid friendly. Go, you wont be disappointed :)

This a fantastic pub. Its so old (claims to be the oldest in England) and there is so much character and charm within the building. The menu is really quirky and there are wives tails and ghost stories to read about too. When we went the service was brilliant and the food really good too. We didn't go with children so I don't know what it is like on that front.

We love this pub. It's very old and characterful and the food is fab. Have a kids menu and they welcome dogs so it's a win win situation for us! They also serve the biggest fish and chips you've ever seen in your life :)
